The 2022 ATOM Awards are excited to announce two new GAMES categories have been added!
BEST STUDENT GAME: Open to students 19 years of age or under and enrolled in a primary or secondary school (or part of a community-based game-making school or club).
BEST EDUCATIONAL GAME: This category is for games that can be played on a web browser as well as those made specifically for desktop computers (Windows and/or macOS). Entries can be targeted at any age group, but their primary purpose must be educational.
Closing date for entries: Midday AEST, Friday 3 June
Finalists announced: Wednesday 7 September
Winners will be announced at two awards presentation ceremonies in November:

• Tertiary & Industry Awards
ABOUT THE ATOM AWARDS
The ATOM Awards have been celebrating the best of Australian and New Zealand screen content from the education sector and screen industry professionals.
They are the second-longest-running film and creative media awards in Australia, behind the AFI/AACTA Awards. This year, the ATOM Awards celebrate their fortieth anniversary.
The 2022 ATOM Awards feature forty categories covering everything from feature-length films and television programs to animation, short fiction, educational resources, web series, ebooks and now games!
