Most Hondas have energetic powertrains competitive fuel economy, and an engaging driving experience. Standout models in our tests are the Accord, Odyssey, and Ridgeline. The Honda Civic shines in handling, braking, and fuel economy, but it has a noisy cabin and an uncomfortable ride. Honda is slow getting into the EV business, but through collaboration with GM plans to introduce the upcoming Prologue electric SUV. Honda says it’s sized close to the Passport, and it will be followed by a wave of more EVs. The HR-V, CR-V, Pilot and Accord are redesigned for 2023. Overall, Honda consistently ranks among the more reliable automakers.
